Revise Right
Hold tight Hi there!

An AI tutor and homework helper for GCSE and A-Level.

Help with GCSE and A-Level homework and revision in any subject, so you understand the work rather than copy it.

Get unstuck, then practise what you learned.

01Explained step by step

Ask about any GCSE or A-Level topic and get an explanation you can follow, then ask again in a different way if it doesn't click.

02A hint, not the answer

Stuck on a question? Ask for a hint so you still do the thinking.

03Check your own answer

Paste your answer and ask what would get the marks and what is missing.

04Turn it into practice

Ask for an exam-style question on what you just covered, or make flashcards or a quiz from the chat.

What you can ask the AI tutor

Ask in your own words. Say your level and subject so the answer fits your course.

  • Explain a topic: "Explain how a nerve impulse crosses a synapse, step by step, for GCSE Biology."
  • Give me a hint: "I'm stuck on this simultaneous equations question. Give me a hint, not the answer."
  • Check my answer: "Here's my answer to a 6-mark question on the causes of the First World War. What would I be missing?"
  • Set me a question: "Ask me an exam-style question on moles, then check my working."
  • Explain it another way: "That didn't click. Can you explain it with a simpler example?"

Turn a conversation into practice

When something makes sense, keep it. Type a mention in the chat to make a resource from the conversation.

  • @flashcards: Make a flashcard deck from what you have just covered.
  • @quiz: Make a quiz to check that it stuck.
  • @mindmap: Make a mind map that shows how the ideas connect.

Getting a better answer

The more the tutor knows about what you need, the more useful its reply.

  • Say your level and subject: "GCSE Combined Science" and "A-Level Chemistry" need different depth.
  • Paste the question: Include the question and the number of marks, not just the topic.
  • Show your working: If you have tried it, share your attempt so the tutor can find where it went wrong.
  • Check it against your course: Compare the answer with your notes, textbook or mark scheme, because AI can make mistakes.

Use it alongside your lessons

The tutor is there while you revise, not only in a separate chat.

  • Ask about an official lesson: Open a lesson in an Official Vault and ask about the part you are reading.
  • Make it yours: Choose your tutor's look and give it a name of up to 20 characters.
  • Find your work again: Resources you make from a conversation are saved in Revise Right Studio.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI tutor a homework helper?

Yes, but one that teaches. Ask for a hint on the next step or for your working to be checked, so you still do the thinking and understand the answer.

Is the AI tutor for GCSE or A-Level?

Both. Tell it your level and subject when you ask, and check what it says against your exam specification, because courses and exam boards differ.

Can the AI tutor help with maths?

Yes. Paste the question, show your working and ask where it went wrong or for a hint on the next step. It can also set you similar questions to practise.

Can the AI tutor make mistakes?

Yes. Like any AI, it can get things wrong, so check important answers against your notes, textbook or mark scheme, and ask your teacher if you're unsure.

Is the AI tutor a replacement for a teacher or tutor?

No. It is a revision aid for the times you are working on your own. Your teacher knows your course, your exam board and how you are getting on, so take anything you are unsure about to them.

Is there a free AI tutor?

It is part of Revise Right Pro. Your account is free, and you can start a 5-day Pro trial from Studio whenever you are ready, with no card needed and no automatic charge.
