Turn your notes, a PDF or a topic into revision quizzes and exam-style practice questions.
Rereading feels like revision. A quiz shows you what you actually know, and which topics to go back to.
01Tests your course
Questions come from the material you choose, not a generic question bank.
02Exam-style practice
Ask for GCSE or A-Level questions with marks to practise for a real paper.
03Works for any subject
From Maths calculations to English Literature quotes, at GCSE or A-Level.
04Ready to retake
Quizzes are saved in your Library, so you can try a topic again before a test.
What you can make a quiz from
The quiz generator writes questions from the material you choose, so the quiz tests what your course actually covers.
A topic, before or after a lesson: Type the topic and level, such as "GCSE Physics specific heat capacity", for a quick check of what you know.
Your class notes: Paste what you wrote in class to find out whether it went in.
A worksheet or revision PDF: Upload the PDF and ask for questions on the part you are revising.
A photo of your exercise book: Upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP image up to 4 MB.
A lesson video or web page: Use a public YouTube video that has a transcript, or a public article or study page.
Set up your quiz
Two settings shape every quiz. You can change both before the questions are written.
Number of questions: A quiz has 10 questions unless you ask for a different number, up to 30.
Mixed: Multiple choice, short recall, fill the gap and true or false. When the subject is Maths, Physics or Chemistry, it mixes multiple choice, numeric answers and short recall instead. A good first check of a topic.
Exam-style: Multiple choice, short recall and long answers with marks, closer to a real paper.
Calculation: Numeric and equation answers plus multiple choice, for Maths, Physics, Chemistry and other subjects with formulas.
Recall: Short recall, fill the gap and multiple choice on facts, definitions and key terms.
Answering and marking
Short questions are checked for you. Written answers work like a mark scheme.
Feedback straight away: Short questions such as multiple choice and true or false give you feedback when you answer.
Self-marked long answers: Compare your answer with the model answer, then tick the marking points you made. Being strict with yourself here is good exam practice.
Learn from what you missed: When you get one wrong, find it in your notes or textbook before you move on, then try the topic again another day.
GCSE and A-Level quiz examples
Say the level, the topic and the kind of practice you want.
GCSE Maths: "Give me 10 GCSE-style surds questions, easy to hard."
GCSE Biology: "Quiz me on mitosis and include the answers."
GCSE Physics: "Test me on circuits with mark-scheme style answers."
Any calculation topic: "Make speed, distance and time calculation questions."
A-Level Economics: "Make an exam-style quiz from this PDF on price elasticity of demand."
A tool that turns study material into practice questions. Revise Right writes revision quizzes from your notes, a PDF or a topic, so you test what you remember instead of rereading it.
How do I turn my notes into a quiz?
Paste your notes into the quiz maker, choose how many questions and a style, then answer them and check the feedback against your notes.
Can I generate a quiz from a PDF?
Yes. Upload the PDF and ask for questions on the part you are revising. Check the questions against the document before you rely on them.
What types of revision questions can it make?
Multiple choice, multiple select, true or false, fill the gap, short recall, long answer with marks, matching, ordering, categorising and numeric answers. Maths and science quizzes can also include equations, graphs and multi-part questions. A quiz mixes a few of these; ask for one format and every question uses it.
Can I use the quiz maker for GCSE and A-Level revision?
Yes. Say your level and topic, and ask for exam-style questions if you want marks. An AI quiz is practice, not an official exam paper, so check it against your exam specification.
Can AI-generated quiz questions be wrong?
Yes. AI can write an unclear question, give an incorrect answer or miss a detail. Compare questions and feedback with your notes, textbook or mark scheme, and ask your teacher about anything you cannot resolve.
