If you are 13 to 17, you may use Revise Right only with permission from a parent or guardian, or where your school has authorised your use. Unless we separately tell you that a school-managed or parental-consent flow applies, we rely on your confirmation and may request more information or restrict access if eligibility is unclear. Parents can contact us to discuss a child's account where appropriate.
Data-protection rights belong to the child. A young person who can understand and exercise those rights can make a request themselves or authorise someone to act for them. We check identity, authority, the child's understanding and wishes, and their privacy and best interests before responding to a request made on their behalf.
Where a child cannot exercise their own rights, a person with parental responsibility may usually act for them in their best interests. Parental responsibility or payment for a subscription does not automatically give access to private conversations or the whole account.
Access, correction, deletion and withdrawal requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Withdrawing consent affects processing that relies on that consent; other lawful processing may continue. We assess requests individually and may ask for the child's authorisation or further information.
To make a request, contact the Revise Right Team at info@reviseright.io. Please describe your request and, if acting for a student, your relationship and authority. Do not send identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate secure process.
Weekly parent or guardian updates: A student may add the email address of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult for weekly revision summaries. We send a confirmation request first and do not share revision activity until the recipient approves. Summaries may include days active, questions answered, subjects studied, and progress. The student can see the recipient and status in Settings, and the recipient can unsubscribe from any update email. An invitation authorises those summaries, not access to other account information.
We may withhold or limit disclosure where necessary to protect the privacy rights of other users, maintain security, comply with law, or avoid disclosing information that cannot lawfully be shared.
